Not far off the Somali coast one of the big Vestel cargo vessels is taken over by pirates! Within a split of a second the ship has a new captain, the soup is gone as well as the cargo itself. Will our Vestrons be able to strike back?

Before you start writing think about the setting and imagine you are there.
Somali pirates take over a huge cargo freighter at sea. Things don’t look good for the crew, until the pirates start to investigate the cargo—Vestrons! Engage!

WALT write a narrative through the eyes of one of the crew, or robots.

  • Describe the setting in detail.Think about words to describe the situation, what you see, smell, taste, hear. Try to use words that create the mood.
  • Now…..Write a first person narrative through the eyes of one of the crew or one of the robots. How you are feeling when the boat is invaded by pirates.

It was  six am in the morning. I looked out my window  and I saw some pirates that  wanted to kill us . The pirates were trying  to get on the boat. The pirates threw their anchors on the silver rail and climbed up on the boat. The pirate ran though the white doors and went down stairs to the kitchen. One of the pirates tried the soup. The soup was as yummy as cake. The pirates were trying to look for treasure but they didn’t know it was robots. The robots were as silver as a chromebook. The pirates didn't find treasure in the containers. The pirates ran into the machinery area. The machines were as big as a elephant. The machines were as loud as a train. The pirates ran to the captain’s cabin. The pirates said give me the hat and keys. The keys were as silver as shells. The other pirates tried up the captain to a post. The post was a long as a pole. The robots started coming out of their containers. One robot came out of the roof and pushed a pirates into the sea. The sea was a blue as the sky. The pirate was a smelly as a rubbish bin. The robot pushed the pirates of the boat but the 3 in the captain’s cabin. One robot went into the captain’s cabin and tapped on one pirate's shoulder. The robot said look outside. The pirate said where are the other pirates. In the sea and died. The robot took the keys and hat away from the pirate and gave it back to the captain. The captain had a hot coffee. The coffee was as hot as chilli. The captain drove everyone back home.

            Beyond the lines

One day I was going to a war with my friends we were talking about the war. We heard a bang then a big group of soldiers that wanted to kill us. So we had some guns to shoot them so we can stay  safe . We were trying how to kill the other team .Because they were trying to shoot us so we just  shoot .then I got to go to sleep I was going to sleep and then when I was asleep I heard peng peng “the guns were shooting  a mun came and woke me up and said you have to get up now because someone needs to have a turn sleeping get up now OK When I got out the war was finished my granddad`  picked  me up and took me and my little brother .We lived happily  ever after the end.

Tom true heart

                                Tom True heart 

Once I saw a little boy the boy was the size of a thumb. He was looking for his six brothers and there princess brides from an evil man the evil man lives in a haunted house. the haunted house is as scary as a monster. I called my pet bird by a whistle and my bird came and took me to my brothers and their princess brides. I saw the haunted house I said stop but the bird didn't stop . I jumped of the bird and tried to call for help to find the haunted house but then I saw smoke I followed it . It took me to the haunted house but the door was locked .I looked at the back of the house and I tried to open the door and it was open .So I went in and I saw my brothers and there princess brides and they were tied up to a pole next to a bed .I touched the bed it was as rusty as an old scooter and then I got my sword out and I said let's go back to the forest. A few moments later we got back to the forest and we made a house with big things like wood and metal and also a part of a tree we made a fire for our dinner. Tom’s magic sword made some clothes for tom’s six brothers and there princess brides . Wind came and blew their house down tom made a new house for them and a new fire to made them warn . Later that day tom’s brothers and their princess brides were cold and hungry tom’s sword was out of magic because it was to cold for his sword .Then a fairy came to make tom’s sword magic again so tom’s brothers and their princess brides . Arnt cold hungry later that day tom’s brothers and their princess brides were getting tired so they went to bed .And they slept happily ever after. The end.
